Classic City Captures℠ provides photography, videography, and web design services for commercial, editorial, and retail clients. Classic City Captures℠ is FAA sUAS Part 107 Certified as a Remote Pilot In Command for aerial drone photography, and we are OSHA 30 Certified for Hazard Recognition Training in the Construction Industry.
Capturing a real moment tangibly is an art form: grasping a living, breathing moment and turning it into a single frame; highlighting the qualities of an image that give it character; and catching an emotion in real-time, forever. As story tellers, we strive to work with brands that want to deliver powerful messages using digital tools + social media.

History & Background
Classic City Captures℠ was established in 2015 by Athens native and University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication alumnus Jonathan Boyce Hogan.
While in college studying telecommunications, Jonathan worked in video operations for the UGA Athletic Association's football program, participated in the George Foster Peabody Awards student judge program, served as a courier at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C., and co-managed operations for his family's lumber company. As a student, Jon studied video production, emerging media technologies, digital media production, media programming and management, and law of mass communication.
After graduation, Jon continued working in the family business before taking a job for 3 years at Technical Services Audio Visual, a commercial audio visual consulting and systems integration firm, where he was promoted to business development director for 2 years before moving on to serve as a project manager and site superintendent for The CloverLeaf Group, a general contracting and construction management company. Jon grew up in a local, family-owned wholesale & retail lumber business (Hogan Lumber Company) which exposed him to real estate development and construction projects at an early age. Each of these experiences provided Jon with the professional and educational opportunities that lead to the inception of Classic City Captures℠.
Jon joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty as a licensed agent in November 2019 and received his Broker License in May of 2024. Jon helps clients with market research, valuation, due diligence, acquisitions, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate. He has transactional experience ranging from triple-net leased investments, income producing multi-family properties, office buildings and land development deals. Jon focuses on Land, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, Office, Retail and Industrial. He is committed to providing exceptional advisory services while adhering to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics. Jon served as Chairman of the Athens Area Association of REALTORS® 2021 Commercial Land Forum.

Jon aspires to continually develop his overall business acumen with a primary focus on creating value for individuals, companies, and their stakeholders.
Jon grew up spending summers with his family at Lake Hartwell in Northeast Georgia on the border of Georgia and South Carolina where his love for sports and the great outdoors originated. Jon enjoys spending time with family & friends and resides in Athens.
